After a historic legislative session, the updated Real Estate License Act put forth by IDFPR’s Division of Real Estate was signed into law by Governor Pritzker on August 9, 2019. The Division of Real Estate created a summary of the changes the state will see effective for the next decade.
The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation announced Tuesday that applications for adult use cannabis licenses for new dispensing organizations are now available.
The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation, Cannabis Control Section has approved 26 businesses as “Responsible Vendors” authorized to provide mandatory health and safety training to cannabis dispensary agents often referred to as “budtenders.”
The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation announced Thursday the first “Same Site” adult use cannabis licenses, which will allow an existing medical cannabis dispensary to obtain an adult use dispensing license. This license will permit the dispensary to begin adult use cannabis sales at that location starting January 1, 2020, provided the dispensary complies with local zoning rules or other local laws.
The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) announced today that Director of Financial Institutions, Francisco Menchaca; Acting Director of Professional Regulation, Secretary Hagan; and Acting Director of Real Estate, Mario Treto Jr signed the following enforcement actions taken during the month of June 2019.
